Oreo Dirt Pudding Trifle

  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies

  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding

  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant vanilla pudding

  • 3 ½ cups whole milk

  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, room temperature

  • ¼ cup butter, room temperature

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted

  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

  • Gummy worms

Oreo Dirt Pudding Trifle

  1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor. Alternatively, you can place the cookies into a resealable plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together both boxes of pudding with the milk for about 2 minutes. Let pudding sit for 5 minutes to thicken.

  3. Using an electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese and butter on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Reduce the speed to low, and add the confectioners' sugar. Then gradually increase the speed to medium, and beat until light and fluffy.

  4. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the pudding. Then gently fold in the whipped topping until incorporated.

  5. For assembly, layer the dessert in a trifle bowl with alternating layers of crushed Oreos and pudding mixture, beginning and ending with the Oreos. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, then decorate with gummy worms before serving.
