Makes 2 8-oz jars

Ingredients

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ⅛ tsp ground ginger

  • ½ cup chopped apple (about ½ large apple)

  • ½ cup milk of your choosing (I used unsweetened almond milk)

  • 4 tsp honey

  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 2 tsp chia seeds

  • Optional toppings: Almonds or walnuts, dried fruit, additional honey

Directions

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

  1. Add the oats, cinnamon, ginger, apple, milk, honey, vanilla, yogurt, and chia seeds to a bowl and stir together until well combined.

  2. Divide the oatmeal between two 8-ounce mason jars or other individual storage containers. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or up to 4 days).

  3. When ready to eat, shake the jar to combine the ingredients or empty the contents of the jar into a serving bowl and stir to combine. Add a little more Greek yogurt or almond milk if a thicker or thinner consistency is desired. Add any desired toppings and enjoy!
