Makes about 20 (depending on the size of your cookie cutter)

Ingredients

Blueberry-Apple-Mint Dog Treats

  • ½ cup apple-blueberry puree baby food

  • ¼ cup apple, grated

  • ¼ cup blueberries, chopped

  • 2 Tbsp mint leaves, finely chopped

  • ¼ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 1⅓ cup whole wheat flour

  • 1 large egg

  • 1½ Tbsp honey

Directions

Blueberry-Apple-Mint Dog Treats

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.

  2. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Mix well with a spoon, and then knead the dough together with your fingers until incorporated. (If the dough is sticky, add a little bit more flour.)

  3. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake for about 24-26 minutes, or until crispy and golden, rotating the pan halfway through baking. Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool completely before giving to your dog.
