Peanut Butter Banana Dog Cookies

Updated: Mar 28

These cute, easy cookies are made with simple ingredients that most people already have in their pantries at home. With good-quality ingredients and no suspicious by-products, these tasty treats will keep your pup happy and healthy. With the peanut butter and banana flavor combo, your dog won’t be able to get enough of them!

The peanut butter banana cookies are the second type in from the right. I used a bone shaped cookie cutter, though any shape can be used.

Peanut Butter Banana Dog Cookies

  • 1 large banana, mashed (about ½ cup)

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 Tbsp honey

  • 1 ½ cups whole-wheat flour

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

  2. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients until a dough ball forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour.

  3. Turn the dough ball out onto a lightly floured surface. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to ¼-inch thickness. Cut the dough with a cookie cutter of your choice and place on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
