This recipe is proof that a dog takes on the personality of its owner. Our dog picked up on my dairy crush and now has a dairy obsession of his own. This recipe is a mix between a Cheez-It and a Milk Bone containing two dairy products so many dogs go crazy for. These biscuits will be a sure-fire hit for any dog with a guilty-pleasure for cheese.

I used a paw shaped cookie cutter, though they kind of look like chef hats. Any shape cookie cutter can be used.
Ingredients
Cheddar Milk Dog Biscuits
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
⅓ cup whole milk
Directions
Cheddar Milk Dog Biscuits
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the flour and cheese. Use an electric mixer to mix in the softened butter until crumbly. Gradually add the milk and mix until just moistened.
Press the dough into a ball and transfer to a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough 8-10 times.
Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to ¼-inch thickness. Cut the dough with a cookie cutter of your choice and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Turn the oven off, but let the cookies stay in the oven with the door cracked open until completely cooled and dried out.
