Frozen Watermelon Dog Treats

These healthy, grain-free treats are packed with vitamins and minerals and are low in calories. Plus, they’re made with parsley to help fight bad breath and aid in digestion. Watermelon is a healthy, all-natural treat for your dog made of 92% water. These frozen and refreshing treats will help your four-legged friend stay hydrated and cost a fraction of the price of store-bought frosty treats.

Ingredients

Frozen Watermelon Treats

  • 2½ cups seedless watermelon, cubed

  • ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, but helps freshen breath)

Directions

Frozen Watermelon Treats

  1. Add the watermelon and yogurt to a blender or food processor. Blend or process until combined and completely smooth. Stir in the chopped parsley.

  2. Fill each cavity of a silicone mold or ice cube tray to the top with the mixture.

  3. Place the molds in the freezer until frozen solid, at least 3 hours or overnight.

  4. Gently release the frozen treats out of the molds and watch your pup devour them! Transfer to an airtight container and store in the freezer.
